Alaska Drywall & Painting Contractors Serving These Communities

Anchorage
Though it’s not the capital, Anchorage is the largest city, hub and center of business in Alaska. It is located on traditional tribal lands of the Dena’ina Athabaskan people at the edge of Cook Inlet. Anchorage is a bustling place of activity, and is a short drive from Wasilla – the home of the Iditarod dog sled race, Palmer – the home of The Alaska State Fair, and Girdwood – home to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world!

Wasilla is the hub of the Matsu Valley, and is the home of the famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race Headquarters. Though there has been a lot of growth in the last few years, both Wasilla, and it’s sister city Palmer, have a small-town feel. With many locally owned shops still making up much of the businesses here. It is one of the fastest-growing areas in Alaska, but it still retains a small-town feel. Wasilla has beautiful lakes, breathtaking views of the mountains, and sits near the incredible Hatcher Pass recreation area.

Eagle River
Nestled into the Chugach Mountains just off the highway between Anchorage and Wasilla is Eagle River. This community is the definition of an Alaska suburb. Quaint little coffee shops and breweries, festivals and outdoor concerts happening while eagles fly overhead, and bear and moose are just a heartbeat away. Eagle river is also right next to the largest city in Alaska, Anchorage.

Palmer
Palmer is a beautiful little community located in the valley between the Chugach Range and the Talkeetna Mountains. The beautiful valley is also home to the Matanuska River, which runs through the edge of town. Palmer is also home to The Alaska State Fairgrounds, which hosts The Alaska State Fair itself, as well as numerous events throughout the year.

Big Lake
Big Lake is a small community away from the hustle and bustle of the main road system. The main lake, called “Big Lake,” is a destination for activity. Snow machining and ice races in the winter. Boating, swimming and jet skiing in the summer.
